Danielle McClure: Like any proud papa, GL's Bradley Cole (Jeffrey) says
tackling real-life fatherhood is one of the biggest joys that he's ever experienced. The actor admits that his 2-year-old son, Sean, has given him a crash
course in a different kind of daytime television. "Everything from Barney to Elmo to the Muppets and of course, SESAME STREET," Cole grins.
"Sean's favorite, though, is the BACKYARDIGANS. I start staring at these things and I'm going 'Boy, this is really good!' There are also
these guys called The Wiggles from Australia. I'm in the wrong business!" he grins. Now that Cole's Springfield alter ego has also officially
entered the paternal fray, the GL star has much to dish about in our first feature with him since 2003. Read all about Cole's fatherly pursuits, both
on-screen and off in the new issue!
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain! |

I was cracking up thinking about Bradley watching The Wiggles with Sean. My daughter couldn't get enough of The Wiggles when she was younger and I
didn't mind watching them either!

Thanks, Kate. I loved reading this from the SOD Insider.
I remember watching some of those shows at least 3 times a day sometimes. I certainly can relate to that. |

Thanks Kate - This was fun to read because I've seen these shows too and think they're both so cute. Sometimes adults can actually enjoy them right
along with the kids. Sean has good taste.

Thanks, Kate, I enjoyed reading that. When my daughter, Melissa, was a toddler, I loved watching Sesame Street with her and my grandsons loved the Wiggles
when they were Sean's age.

Can anyone post the interview here for those of us who may not get a chance to read? I would love to read the interview in full or a summarized version of it.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for posting, Kate! Sesame Street is and was my favorite!!! Never got into the Wiggles---however this new show on the Disney channel, "The
Imagination Movers" is very similar and I have a connection to them---my brother in law went to college with one of the guys from the show---he's been
to my sister/bro in law's house for dinner when in the area for Disney. And my younger son is a big fan---we traveled from Jersey to Maryland to catch one
of their shows before they hit it big with Disney. All of you with little ones--both grandkids and kids---please check them out! They are truly humble and
terrific people---they were affected tremendously by Katrina since they are based in New Orleans, so that's another reason to hope they take off and make
it really big! They are very good---they put out kids' music to a rockin beat---I agree with Bradley that he'd be great at it, as well!

Oh boy..I'm in the same boat as Bradley is in. My 21 month old daughter Lila is obsessed (and I mean OBSESSED) with The Wiggles. She
calls them "Toot Toot" (they have a song "toot toot chugga chugga big red car")..every morning when we come downstairs for breakfast she
points to the tv and says "Toot toot!!!" and will proceed to throw a fit, crying and sobbing on the floor until I turn them on. It's crazy stuff
LOL
I agree with him too about the Backyardigans...Collin, my 6 yr old still watches them..and they're actually enjoyable for a parent to watch too! Thanks for the great article!! |

I'll have to find out about these new shows! I've seen everything from Sesame Street to Bob The Builder and Blues Clues! Never had anyone young enough
to watch The Wiggles, though.
Thanks for posting this!
