Shayne returns Jeffrey's handshake with happiness and says, Hey, congrats you guys, kind of not taking his eyes off Reva and the baby. He goes over to Reva and the baby saying, Oh my goodness and gives Reva a gentle kiss on her head. Reva softly introduces the baby to Shayne as his big brother, and his Godfather. Shayne asks, What's his name, turning to Jeffrey and then back to Reva. Reva says, We don't know, we've been so busy just trying to get him in the world. Jeffrey is still flashing that beaming smile. Reva smiles at Shayne and asks, Do you wanna hold him? Shayne hesitates for a moment and says, No mom, I mean, he's so small, I shouldn't hold him. Reva stops him and says, Shayne, You're his Godfather, just put out your arms. He'll be fine. She gently hands the baby over to Shayne, murmering to support his neck. Reva smiles in tears as she watches Shayne hold the baby. Shayne gazes at the baby, and says, Hi......So I'm uh.......your Godfather, and I'm your big brother. Reva is chuckling in glee at the sight. Jeffrey is standing there watching in a huge smile, Shayne hold the baby. Shayne goes on saying, and it's my job to protect you and I promise that I'm never gonna let anything bad happen to you. Reva is murmering, Aren't they wonderful......they're just so wonderful, little babies, and you'll know, as soon as you have one of your own. Shayne gives Reva a kind of a sad look for a moment and then says, My God he's so tiny. Shayne smiles at the baby as Reva smiles at them. The baby raises his arms as if he's stretching and makes his grunting baby sounds, and Jeffrey leans over and says, I think he likes you. Reva says, Of course he likes you, that's his big brother, he's gonna be his hero, and I can't wait till he's old enough so that you can tell him all about Bosnia and your adventures there, and how you save so many people's lives. Jeffrey says, Never mind that, he's gonna have to teach him how to play ball, first! Reva says, Absolutely, lots a ball! Shayne is still staring at the baby in amazement and then suddenly seems overwhelmed and says, I can't hold him anymore, here you go mom. He hands the baby back to Reva. Reva coos over the baby and kisses him. Shayne makes up an excuse saying he's parked in a no parking zone and quickly exits the room. Reva watches him go and shows concern for his abrupt exit............

Reva says with a serious face, I know why you're here. You're here because you wanna talk about radiation and chemo, and I can't that, not while I'm holding my baby. Jeffrey is watching in sadness for Reva. Colin says, Come on Reva, you know every second of this fight counts. Reva says, I've been waiting for this moment, for a long nine months, and I'm not gonna let you ruin for me, I'm not. Colin says, Hey, come on, I'm the good guy. I'm the guy in the white coat, right...... as he points to his coat. Reva looks at Colin in tears and says, Please......go. Jeffrey gently pulls Colin aside and says to him, Let's let her have this time with the baby. After everything that she's been through, she's earned that much. Once she starts the radiation, she won't be able to hold the baby at all, so we're not gonna take the baby out of her hands right now. Colin says, We had a deal. Jeffrey says in more defense of Reva, You weren't in the delivery room when Reva was giving every ounce of strength she had to bring this child into the world. They flash a shot of Reva cooing and holding the baby tightly in her arms. Now flash back to Jeffrey with Colin and Jeffrey looking at Reva with concern and sadness and says, I'll let you know when we're ready, okay. Colin gives a concerned look back at Reva and goes over to her and strokes the baby's head and says, He's a beautiful baby, I'm proud of you. Reva says, Thank you. Colin says, Reva, we've been in this fight, and this dance from the beginning. From the first day we met, and you came into my office, took your first exam, I've taken your fight to heart. Reva says, I know....I know, and I appreciate it, but it's still my fight, so I really need you to go. She's trying to hold back her tears as she looks at Colin with some anxiousness and fear. Colin says, You once said to me, that I was an incurable workaholic, and then you taught me how to live. Well, like it or not, I'm gonna return the favor. So, I will be back. Reva just nods at him, as she holds the baby tightly in her arms. Colin reaches out and caresses the side of her face. He turns to leave as Jeffrey gives him a pat on the back. Reva looks back at Jeffrey and chuckles and brushes her hand up against Jeffrey in pride. Now Billy comes forward and Reva introduces Billy to the baby as his honorable Uncle Billy, and you'll get to know him. Billy says, Yes you will, I'll be your favorite, cause I'll be the one you come to, when your mommy says, No. Reva reaches up to caress Billy's cheek and Billy grabs her hand and kisses it and says, I'm so proud of you. Hawks what they named him. Reva says, Uh, well.....we've been kind of focused on getting him into the world. Jeffrey says, We haven't come up with one yet. Billy says, Well, I think Harlen always a pretty good ring to it, as he gives her a innocent smile. Hawk says, How bout, somethin colorful like, Chance, or Champ......? Reva says, Oh yeah, those are fine names, for golden retrievers. They all chuckle. Josh comes in and gives everyone a smile and holds out his hand to Jeffrey, congratulating him, saying, A boy is a real blessing. He looks down at Reva and says, Hey, I'm uh, really happy for you. She says with a smile, Thanks Bud........
Billy says to Reva, I'll be sure and call him and tell him he's got a beautiful new baby brother, and you get some sleep. Reva gives him a warm thanks as he leaves. Josh comes a litle closer to Reva and takes her hand, and says, Hey, that is one lucky little boy to have you for a mom. She says, Thanks and Josh says again looking at Jeffrey, Congratulations again. Josh leaves as Reva smiles at Jeffrey and Hawk comes forward, sitting on the bed.......and Jeffrey says in a hinting tone, .....And your dad was just leaving too, right.......? Reva nods in agreement, and Hawk says, Yeah, I gotta get out there and get some cigars. Reva says, We'll celebrate some more tomorrow at the house. Hawk gives the baby a cooing comment, See you, you too, lil pardner! Hawk says goodbye, as Josh is waiting at the door for him and they leave. Jeffrey sits on the bed and gives her a concerned look and she says, Don't look at me like that. Jeffrey says, Well, what are you doing? You know you can't go home. She looks at him sadly. He goes on saying, Reva......there is not going to be any party. Reva says with a smile, I have a baby, that's reason to celebrate. Jeffrey says, You have cancer and it is going to kill you, if you don't face it. Reva says in a quiet but determined tone, Don't talk like that. Not in front of the kid. Jeffrey says, It took me a long time, to be able to say those words and I'm not gonna stop! I'm gonna keep saying them, because our baby is here and he's counting on us, Reva. So, it is time......it is time for round two, whether we like it or not. Reva looks at him with sadness as she leans her head into the baby.............

Jeffrey stands up at the top of the bed behind Reva, putting his hands around her shoulders, leaning into her, and Reva, says, No, Colin, I'm sorry, but I'm not ready to let him go yet. She's giving the baby small pats as she holds onto him for dear life. Colin says.....And get you some radiation, with a strong dose of chemo on the side, Reva......I can win this fight if you let me. Jeffrey is rubbing her shoulder as she holds onto the baby tightly and speaks through her tears, No, I don't want you here and if you don't go, you're fired. Colin says, Did I mention, that I'm slightly deaf.......? Reva says with determined anger in her voice, You don't get it.......... Then softens her voice with her tears and says, This little person was inside me a few hours ago, and now you expect me to just let him go? No! Jeffrey leans in and says, So we can get you well. Reva shakes her head and says to Jeffrey pleading, With the radiation, I can't be a mother to him. Then she pleads to Colin saying, I'll be weak and sick, and barely able to function, don't make me give him up! Please, don't, don't make me leave him, just yet, please don't! Just give me a few more minutes, please, just a few more minutes. The tears flow from her, as she pleads with both of them, holding onto the baby.............(OMG, what a sad scene)

You know, your voice, and your touch and your smell.......I'll come back and.......she gasps through her tears and goes on saying..........and he'll be a totally different person, he won't even know me....... Jeffrey sighs in sadness saying her name, Reva..........Reva says, But he'll know you, he will know you. So there's some things that you need to promise that you'll do. You need to promise me that you will hold him, as much as you can, and you need to lay him on your chest so he can feel your heartbeat.......(OMG, I'M LOSING IT HERE! SO SAD *TEARS*)........Reva goes on through her tears saying.........Then rub his head against your cheek, as she shows him how and says........ because that's what I would do. She says, ...........And sing to him, Jeffrey. Promise me, sing to him everynight. Jeffrey nods and she says again, Promise me. She kisses the baby, saying, I love you baby and gently hands him over to Jeffrey. She says, Okay, okay Doc, as Colin is waiting for Reva at the door. Colin stands behind her as Jeffrey stands in front of her holding the baby. She stops and says, Oh my God, Oh my God.......We haven't even given him a name yet. He needs a name. Jeffrey says, We can do that later. Reva says, No! Now! She looks at Jeffrey and says, Colin....... Colin looks down at her with a smile and she grabs his hand up around her shoulder. Jeffrey gives an agreeing smile. She says, It's the perfect name. It's the name of two of the men who saved my life, right........ Jeffrey smiles at her again and she says to Colin, Okay. Then she pleads to Colin saying, I'll be weak and sick, and barely able to function, don't make me give him up! Please, don't, don't make me leave him, just yet, please don't! Just give me a few more minutes, please, just a few more minutes. The tears flow from her, as she pleads with both of them, holding onto the baby.............(OMG, what a sad scene)
Reva is sitting in the wheelchair, holding the baby. Jeffrey is kneeling down next to her. She says to Jeffrey, The first moments of their life, is the most important, and most precious, you know. It's when they get to know you. You know, your voice, and your touch and your smell.......I'll come back and.......she gasps through her tears and goes on saying..........and he'll be a totally different person, he won't even know me....... Jeffrey sighs in sadness saying her name, Reva..........Reva says, But he'll know you, he will know you. So there's some things that you need to promise that you'll do. You need to promise me that you will hold him, as much as you can, and you need to lay him on your chest so he can feel your heartbeat.......(OMG, I'M LOSING IT HERE! SO SAD *TEARS*)........Reva goes on through her tears saying.........Then rub his head against your cheek, as she shows him how and says........ because that's what I would do. She says, ...........And sing to him, Jeffrey. Promise me, sing to him everynight. Jeffrey nods and she says again, Promise me. She kisses the baby, saying, I love you baby and gently hands him over to Jeffrey. She says, Okay, okay Doc, as Colin is waiting for Reva at the door. Colin stands behind her as Jeffrey stands in front of her holding the baby. She stops and says, Oh my God, Oh my God.......We haven't even given him a name yet. He needs a name. Jeffrey says, We can do that later. Reva says, No! Now! She looks at Jeffrey and says, Colin....... Colin looks down at her with a smile and she grabs his hand up around her shoulder. Jeffrey gives an agreeing smile. She says, It's the perfect name. It's the name of two of the men who saved my life, right........ Jeffrey smiles at her again and she says to Colin, Okay. He turns to wheel her out and she gives one last kiss on baby Colin's head and then looks at Jeffrey and mouths an, I love you to him. Colin wheels Reva out as Jeffrey watches in sadness and fear, holding their son.............
